Hello I have a problem with activating Autocad LT 2008 on a new computer (the old one has stopped working). The program works correctly after the installation , but after entering the activation code it shows an activation error. It is strange that requested code is different from the one installed on the old computer. Should I re-register the program on your website and generate the new code? Sorry for my English Regards
First Acad LT 2008 is no longer supported by Autodesk. In addition you can't take an activation code from one machine and use it on another machine. One more thing.. Activation is only possible if Autodesk still considers this serial # active.
Activation AutoCAD LT 2008 Key
Just because it works now, doesn't mean in the future with Window 10 updates that its going to continue to work. In addition have you tried every function that you need in Acad LT 2008 to confirm it all works? If this is your business are you willing to risk it when a Windows 10 update comes along and makes this version inoperable? What are you going to do then? Don't risk it but its not something that I have to worry about..
Its your choice to run it on an unsupported OS.. @mdavis22569 and I are telling you the risk. However there's nothing that we as users can do about your activation. Like I said you can't use activation codes from another machine.. Perpetual license activation is based on a request code from the given machine. Have you tried to activate it using the new request code from the Windows 10 machine? Did you get a new activation code? Are there error messages? In the end its all about the history of the serial #.. Just because you have one doesn't mean the serial # is still active.
I have run in to exactly the same problem today. My version, AutoCAD LT2008 has been working on Windows 10 ever since windows 10 was released... until today. All of a sudden it's asking me to reactivate the software which of course is not possible. I also have all I need in this version of AutoCad for my business and have no desire to spend money on something I don't need. Surely there's a workaround to eliminate the need for activation?
Ive owned AutoCAD 2008 for several years, and today after I launched the prodcut, it claimed my license had expired. My serial number then came up as 000-00000000, which I know is incorrect. I lost my original serial number with the CD case, can anyone help me out?? Would be very much appreciated.
hi, i have a similar problem.i can't activate AutoCAD 2008I tried activate it with activation master, but activation does not work. Then i try check serial number with Autodesk Virtual Agent (Get activation code), and the answer was "The serial number you entered is for an older version that is no longer supported"Is that mean that i can't use my license of Autocad 2008 anymore?
Autodesk killed off reauthorizing of 2010 and older software (that includes 2008) as of August 31 2019 -explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-ver...Sorry, you missed the deadline. There is nothing you can do about it today. If you still have your old PC, hang on to it for as long as it will last, then figure out a new option if you are unable to join Autodesk Subscription for newer software.
That Autodesk don't give you an activation code for a product you have bought could be an issue for lawyers, because you bought the software and so (according to the license regulation at that time) with unlimited usage (not limited by time) ... at least I guess they (Autodesk) have to give you the activation code (as long as you have a valid license and it was not updated or something like that that made the license invalid).
Note: if you do not have an internet connection, once you call (800-551-1490) for an Activation Code, you will select "I have an activation code" instead. Do not re-use your old code as it will not work. 2ff7e9595c
